Our Regular Veg Boxes come packed with 6 portions of delicious produce, freshly harvested on the day of collection for unbeatable freshness and nutritional quality. By purchasing this product you are signing up for our Veg Box scheme which runs from June – Oct. All produce in our Veg Boxes is grown on-site by our small team of staff and wonderful volunteers. As such our boxes are filled with a changing mix of hearty root veg, salad greens, fresh fruit, delicious herbs and tasty treats like tomatoes and chillies, as the seasons and the success of our crops allow.

By signing up for our Veg Box scheme, you agree to support us in exchange for a share in our harvest. When we have abundance, we’ll share it with you – for example, lots of apples and plums in August and September, and green tomato week is always a treat! When crops are struggling or the weather is being even more difficult than usual, we’ll try our best to ensure value for money and diversity in our boxes – but ask that you accept that this might not always be possible. Early in the season can be particularly difficult, as recent springs have been cold and wet, though our customers of previous years have still been pleased with the mix of early-season greens and herbs we’ve provided.

We ask that our customers collect their Veg Boxes from us, this allows us to focus on what we’re good at – growing food and keeps our project sustainable by reducing costs. We’re based in Parkhead, in the East End of Glasgow. Collection is offered between 3-6pm on Thursdays, everything in our boxes is grown on-site and harvested the day of collection. Collections begin in late May or Early June. With the option to pop by after this time if needed – though we encourage customers to come along at the collection time when possible, that way you can meet the people growing and harvesting your produce, not to mention get first pick of the veggie goodies!

A £10 sign up fee is required, we use this to purchase reusable bags for your produce that we ask that you return to us and represent a level of commitment to the principles of Community Supported Agriculture.
